Development of Core Competency Scale for clinical nursing student educators

Purpose: This study aimed to develop a Core Competency Scale for clinical nursing student educators.Methods: In this study, we constructed conceptual framework, selected initial items, verified the content validity, conducted two rounds of Delphi expert consultation, secondary and tertiary extracted final items. The included 242 educators students. Item analysis, factor criterion internal consistency were used data analyses.Results: For scale, 35 items 5 factors categorized, which together explain 61.7% total variance. education evaluation, research cooperation, ethical/legal principles, presenting leadership, practice. scores scale significantly correlated with teaching efficacy instructors. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was .96.Conclusion: findings demonstrated that core competency has good validity reliability. can be assess students; hence, it will help in evaluating relationship between skills students self-efficacy those
